This wedding was nothing short of a blast! Everything about it - from the menu to the band to the HOT orange Gucci shoes Elaine wore - it was all about FUN! Speaking of the menu - if you've never had the great pleasure of sampling the lobster macaroni and cheese at the Four Seasons, go do it . . . now! To die for! And it didn't end there. This was a feast! The unique and overflowing food stations were just the beginning. Later in the evening, the guests were treated to Amy's Ice Cream, s'mores out by the fire, and late night snacks like sliders and mini pizzas. No one went hungry at this wedding!
The best part (even better than those fabulous shoes!) was the surprise fireworks show that Elaine's parents, Peggy and Joe, did for Elaine and Kacy. I get chills just thinking about it. And the plan worked perfectly! We had the cake out on the patio - overlooking the lake. And just when Elaine and Kacy made the first cut of the cake, the sky lit up. The look on Elaine's face was priceless. And Pam Hults from a la Vie Photography captured it brilliantly as you can see! Elaine and Kacy were blown away by their surprise. Well done, Peggy and Joe!
Finally, a little personal note to Elaine and Peggy. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed working with you both. You made my job even more fun than it usually is. I loved every minute of planning this event with you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity and pleasure of working with you on this very special occasion. I will miss you guys so much!
